Pick guys that can take instructions and execute those. That should be criteria number one no matter who or how talented they are. It is as easy as that.
I rather have players like Alipour, Taremi, ARJ, Amiri, Moharrami etc that dont fuck around and listen to coaches.


Teams win games. Not players. Unless theyre Messi type freaks then they have to have these basic but hard to implement skills.

The positive with a guy like Alipour is that those type of players grind until they execute.

Queiroz is likely to reward Alipour (I didn't like his game before but respect him for his graft) for his work in Portuguese league, we may see 5 forwards potentially if Allahyar is fit

Because these type of players are easy to work with and bring acceptable- to good level of skill set.

TEHRAN – Former Sanat Naft coach Alireza Mansourian is an Iranian candidate shortlisted to assist Carlos Queiroz in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Iranian media had previously reported that Foolad coach Javad Nekounam will be named as Queiroz assistant but the ex-Iran captain will continue his job in his club.

Mansourian, 50, started his coaching career in 2009 as Pas Hamedan head coach and was named Iran assistant a year later.

He also headed Iran U23 football team from 2011 to 2014.

Roger De Sa (assistant Coach), Ricardo Silva (performance coach), Alexandre Lopes (goalkeeping coach), Coach João Peixeiro (assistant coach/IT analyst), and Micael Moreira (physical therapist/rehabilitation coach) have been reportedly named as Queiroz’s assistants in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

If the plan is to have an Iranian assistant coach who can take over for CQ after the WC, then we are screwed if that assistant is Mansourian. He makes Fekri look like Pep

He did very solid for maritimo and earned himself an upgrade to better team in gil vicente. He has featured decent mins for somebody who just joined, not a fixed player yet but thats not abnormal this early in adaptation process.

No rumors of him going back to PP.

Certainly think his hard running approach and versatility would be appreciated by CQ, specially in Allahyar's absence.

he is one of the best winger in the league, hustle or not. Its just a domestic list so no harm in seeing him...

Not a pure winger (but could play there) Aliyari from Foolad is smart, physical and talented.

I feel like Ghaedi is living off his previous reputation. This season far, he hasn't been anything special.

It's a domestic league call up list. Blue fans will be screaming if he leaves him out from this camp.

Alipour was invited by CQ before and crossed out . Matter fact he was invited few times by CQ and never made it in the final cut. He was killing the league back then too. Scoring left and right in IPL.



I doubt CQ taking more than 4 striker . And the striker will end up playing in MD anyway.
