Let’s not forget, Canada is one of the World Cup hosts in 2026. How they treat the Iranian team, will probably be viewed closely.
If Canada can’t guarantee safety and a fair atmosphere for any national team, it would look bad on them.

Having said that if TM qualifies for 2026, I could see them be based in Mexico to avoid all this.
