If Sko didnt CX New Zealand for no decent reason Paraguay+Uruguay+NZ would have been a near ideal June window.
someone call new zeeland and tell them that we will donate the profits of the game to a kiwi-sanctuary in newzeeland if they accept a game

eh... Nothing is goin to happen. Rule of law (human rights, international agreements, norms, etc) are only there to be used as a stick when needed. In the very unlikely case that IFF sues and wins any money, then the Canadian government finds another excuse to not allow it.

When Canada reimburses Afghanistan for their complicity in the destruction of Afghanistan, when they boycott UK for the numerous documented atrocities over 300 years, when they try, convict and imprison the people responsible for the murder of the native children, when they give the oil and gas riches back to the natives who rightly own it........

.....only then may be I'll believe that they will compensate Iran for the damages caused by having their soccer policy set by KSA and Israel.

And if it does miraculously happen it's an upgrade on Ecuador and Canada.

These are rumours based on Uruguay sources. Paraguay based on a decently reliable Iranian source on Twitter.

I'm not trying to get anyone's hopes up bro - everything about Iran is depressing as hell nowadays. For us living in ghorbat suffering from the blues, imagine what our countrymen are going through living there ... we could have had one football match to take us away from these protests, Abadan, economic situation, political situation etc.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

"We thought it was best that maybe this game would not be played," veteran [Canadian] midfielder Jonathan Osorio said Friday after Toronto FC training. "My feeling is that around the (Canada Soccer) federation, it ended up being the same feeling as well. I don't think that the decision was made based on what we sent. We just sent our concerns, with everything happening. It's an unfortunate situation, I think. And it is what it is now. Now we're just looking forward to getting together anyways and start preparing ourselves for what's to come at the end of the year (the World Cup starting in November in Qatar)."

Did they have anything to do with the downed plane? Of course not, but their agenda is quite clear.
Yes and they'll probably try to find a way to steal that money for themselves.

I knew this MLS idiot would make comments. Wait for Belgium and Croatia to smack you back to reality.

He's going to WISH he had the friendly with Iran. Belgium/Croatia will put on a clinic against them.

Exactly. At this point, I rather Iran pursue a sure thing with weaker team in our region like Oman.

Much rather have a below average friendly that is 100% going to happen than a good friendly that's a maybe.

                                I found this from Uruguay's media: https://www.futbol.com.uy/Deportes/S...nario-uc822849
