Canada and justin are ok with taking millions if not billions of dollars from people linked directly to the iranian government, giving them passports, but when it comes to playing a football match, which has nothing to do with politics they do this.. do you think the leaders of IR care if we play this match? Apparently, Canada esp. Toronto and Vancouver are infested with these dozd regimis (who bring in millions at a time) because Canada is dependent on bringing in economic migrants to boost their economy. Toronto and Vancouver are some of the most expensive cities to live in the world based on the data - so these dozd regimis are bringing in millions at a time to get approved as economic migrants.

As mentioned before Canada would've paid Iran $400k for that match and we all know good and well IR would've dipped their dirty hands in that money. After that plane crash it simply wouldn't have ended well PR wise. I would've bought tix for that game though because my moral compass simply doesn't stretch that far but it makes perfect sense it got cancelled

The 400k was to cover the tickets to Istanbul (for visas), and then the flights to Canada. Also to cover hotels if they planned on staying more than 5 days. It would have all been spent.

they were making nearly 6 million in ticket sales BECAUSE the opponent was Iran. Most teams in the world would ask for half of that in any agreement to come to vancouver and play on artificial grass.

What Iran was getting was enough to make this a no expenses trip for them, and maybe, at maximum get the federation an extra 100k to help with arranging other friendlies.

What you expect. Recall the Huawei scandal after all the millions they poured in to Vancouver and the 5G network only to arrest the CEO and unilaterally ban them from the 5G infrastructure project. This was beyond football.

Our main problem has never been foreign powers. Our main problem is lack of unity allowing and even inviting others to take advantage of us. We take shit from from anyone with money or power and bow deeply to them too...that is our current status.
