they also admit that they canceled the match due to Geo-Political reasons..!! could play a vital role if IFF were to lodge a formal complaint to FIFA as they should..!

I would argue the precedent was set with FIFA banning Russia. It gives any country cart blanche to ban any other country for any reason (even politics), and get away with it. Canada was the first to put this into effect post-Russian ban for a football match, but it already happened with Wimbeldon. Meanwhile, our Judo athletes get banned for not participating against Israeli athletes (rightly or not, it's clearly a double standard).

But case of Russia was extreme , there was precedent of doping and previous restriction and ivation of Ukraine not the same level with Issue of airline .

IFF may be incompetent ding dongs. But this fiasco is not on them, it is squarely on the enemies of the people of Iran who for over 100 years have tried to suppress the potential of its people. Long list of actions, but here are some highlights:

3- Occupation and starvation of Iran during WWII
4- 1953 Coup
5- Ousting of the Shah.
6- Iran-Iraq war.
7- Sanctions that have caused untold amount of death.
