He lost everything he had on that night and none of us can and should know how it feels to loose your loved ones on such a tragic way. I didn’t agree with his point of view to cancel this game but I can understand him and his feelings. This dude’s life is like hell and he doesn’t deserve to be called out like this. According to CSA they want up to 90%. Reportedly they offered 60% split even between men and women's team but the players rejected it.

We should be careful not to give to much power to people like Hamed Esmaelion and the political agents he got into bed with. Making accusations against people and calling for their arrest with zero evidence just because they are in a photo, against people who bought tickets… We saw how much damage they can do to something as trivial as football. Everyone has a story, everyone who has lived long enough has lost people. IR has more than 40-50 victims. It doesn’t give anyone a license to be destructive towards others who are not responsible for their misery. Were his actions completely self-serving or did even one Iranian in Iran benefit from he and his buddies’ actions?
