Host cities are being picked mid June and we need to act fast at least to voice our concerns.
also this will probably gives IFF a bit of leeway and get outa jail card of sort, the next time TM may face banning/expulsion due to somewhat controversial doing which could translate as a questionable Political interference as well ..!!

Just show TM players tapes of chemical attacks from the war and stories about people dying due to lack of accessibility to chemo, food, hospital bills.
Sure none of that stuff is Pulisics fault, but we can make them think so and act accordingly to eliminate them from the tournament.
If they want politics in the game, lets put it in the game

FIFA goes easy on European or Western FAs.
For Canada, FIFA would just warn them.

At the very least the Canadian Men's National Team should be banned from the FIFA World Cup due to the ongoing genocide against indigenous peoples in Canada.
Let's not forgive and forget the mass graves of children being found every year. If this was Iran, they would declare Iran being governed by a "Ruthless Regime".

Iran is not banned from playing football, we are being denied the chance to play a friendly against Canada on Canadian soil.
The reasoning is stupid, and Canada should face financial consequences for breaching their agreement with Iran and slapped with point deductions equal to that of a loss in FIFA rankings. But the comparison you made is not correct.

And .. there is really no "ongoing" genocide against indigenous people in Canada! .. Like every other country (Iran/Persia included), Canada also has a dark moment in its history. The discovery of American continent by Europeans (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese) is full of stories of how the colonial forces committed crimes against aboriginal people who lived on the continent. The Europeans brought with them their own religious rivalry (Catholicism vs. Reformists like Sunni vs. Shia) and victimized many aboriginals in their pursued of religious fanaticism! The mass graves were from a distant past and its recent discovery has made Canada to recognize the past mistakes, to publicly apologize and to take action for remediation and reconciliation.
One cannot compare Canada governing body with that of the IR. The so called Islamic Republic has committed crimes after crimes. Killing innocent people for their opinion, choice of attire, choice of religion, choice of music, choice of words, etc. etc. all with no accountability. IR is a convicted criminal regime, Canada is a democratic society that puts the well being its people on its top priority. Unlike IR that is only interested in spreading Islam -e Hosseini and does not care about its people. Look at our football and its pathetic situation. Does IR cares that football is a source of joy for Iranian people? NO! They don't care about you and me!

Iran on the other hand does not even know what was in the contract they signed with Canada football federation. The head of the federation cannot remember if he obtained legal opinion on the contract and/or whether there was a penalty clause for cancellation. These people in Iran are just a bunch who are appointed to positions by the higher ups and they have no qualification for the job whatsoever. Case in point is Mr. Estili whom I doubt if he even finished high school. The so called minister of sports talked about claim for extensive damages against Canada football federation. I am not a lawyer but know enough that any monitory claim would need to be quantified and from what is see there is really no damage inflicted! .. just a football match that was cancelled. Something that happens everyday among different nations friendly game arrangements! The minister is out to lunch!
