100% agree that the team will come together post this cancellation. We should just go to Qatar and hold a 15-20 day camp. If any team available there, great, we'll play one or two games, otherwise, just hold the camp which is beneficial and needed. No point crying over spilled milk.

Yes, there's a hidden win. Anyone in TM with a healthy testosterone level (which I assume is all of them), will now go into "no merci" mode.

Hopefully, that mode lasts until the WC and does not get replaced with typical Iranian "let's make up" mode as soon as some entities utter some meaningless niceties to try to patch things up.

Believe me, knowing Iranians and Iranian mindsets, all it takes is the night before England and USA game for Skocic to remind them of this incident and bloods will start boiling again. E.g. the unprecedented and virtually unlimited support for the Ukraine, is not at all about helping the Ukranianas (particularly not the rural half), but about bleeding and weakening Russia, even if the entire Ukraine gets levelled to the ground.

Then after the dust settles, the same group pushing all this will move into Ukraine with unlimited captial and buy up the entire country for pennies.

They view all the expendable Ukrainian men dying as nothing more than useful idiots and eventually fertilizer for the black soil of Ukraine.

You know, letting natural resources get exploited is definitely wrong, but learning how to exploit the overall system and take advantage of the system, that's what a smart government should be doing.
