Another terrible youth tournament for us. Another notch in the belt. Another feather in the cap.
Again, I get the point that success can be had IN SPITE of a government. Look at African teams or even Iraq's (overage) youth teams - you can have great success despite shitty governments who shouldn't be managing a lemonade stand.
With Iran's huge and athletic population, I just don't objectively see too much success at all. Other nations are light years ahead of us in so many ways.
Let's hope a few talented players that always manage to slip through the cracks like we have with Mehdi Taremi, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh and Sardar Azmoun. That's our formula for success.
