Every single non-Iranian who discusses Iran and WC performance was impressed by the performances and points tally. Every single person mentions the foundations built by CQ.

There is no doubt that CQ built a wonderful foundation for us and he should always be remembered by Iranian fans. I will tell my children about him one day. With our offensive talent, I want to see us play open football and take it to the teams we play. It's time to fly baby!!
Unrelated, but has anyone noticed that the symbol in the middle of the Iranian flag kinda looks like a vagina? I know it says "Allah" and allah is a woman on our flag. We should be proud!!

The Algerian IG page still hasn't posted anything, so I'm a bit worried about this friendly.

This just isn't realistic, on any level.

I also wish we could play open attacking football against teams like England, Wales, or other strong opponents during world cup but unfortunately, we'd very very likely concede far too many goals and have a terrible world cup.

Just look at what happened to us in world cup 2006 and then Again vs Korea this year when we were very lucky to only concede 2 goals.

It would take something of a miracle for us to play open like that and make it passed this group stage.
