Friendly: Iran - Algeria; Info, Updates and Live Reports (12.06.2022)
This is another typical Skocic match. No clear tactics, unorganized, defense wide open, should be down (but miraculously, are not), bezan ziresh, relying on Sardar/Mehdi.
This is pretty much the blueprint of his TM tenure, so dont understand how we can expect anything better/different in the WC.
The defence isnt looking good. Too much space for algeria to play on.
Meanwhile we are dangerous when we intercept the Ball on the oppositions half. I really doubt we give the opposition this much space in the World cup.
We are trying to get the Ball on their half, but every time we dont manage to do that, algeria gets dangerous. They are good on the Ball. I dont mind all these things happening, as long as we learn from it.
Have some type of tactical approach to the game is too much to ask? These guys look like theyve never played together before. The defense has no shape. Do you guys even watch this sport?
Well like many iranians, you seem not to understand anything about football and friendly. Iranians are playing extremely fast and combining quite well. The most likely purpose of this friendly is to force them to play open and push forward, unlike Quieroz who was only parking the bus with 10 players. Was parking the bus with 10 men and playing rugby with Sardar alone upfront a "strategy" and tactical masterpiece according to you? Quieroz only great achievement was to teach discipline to our boys. We have lots of respect for him but it's time now to learn to play open and push forward too. That's the purpose of a friendly
Bring on Omid Ebrahimi (for Gholizadeh), Alireza Beiranvand and get off Omid Noorafkan (for Aref Gholami). That's a start.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
