Friendly: Iran - Algeria; Info, Updates and Live Reports (12.06.2022)
As a footballing nation that traditionally relied heavily in set pieces to get most its goals, Taremi and Sardar have changed this to playing shoulder to shoulder with the opposition’s last man and that through ball.
The problem is certainly our defence which is extremely vulnerable to oppositions good use of space and pace.
To add to our worries, Amir for some reason has turned back to WIP!?
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
Baba you and your CQ. He failed to make the grade at Colombia and Egypt, and crashed us out of the Asian Cup and you still rate him. Skocic is the reason we made the WC in the first place, not to mention beating Bahrain for the first time in Bahrain. We're playing pretty well right now, just be patient.
Wael Goma: “[Carlos] Queiroz made something out of nothing,” he continued. “He made this team reach heights that seemed impossible with this group of players.”
Two finals lost on penalties against a team with a transfer value five times more
'Failed to make the grade at egypt' I genuinely don't understand some people. Maybe we don't deserve good things, wc will be a rude awakening
We are going to get trashed at the World Cup. This is Algeria's reserve squad (if I can even say that!)

Well like many iranians, you seem not to understand anything about football and friendly. Iranians are playing extremely fast and combining quite well. The most likely purpose of this friendly is to force them to play open and push forward, unlike Quieroz who was only parking the bus with 10 players. Was parking the bus with 10 men and playing rugby with Sardar alone upfront a "strategy" and tactical masterpiece according to you? Quieroz only great achievement was to teach discipline to our boys. We have lots of respect for him but it's time now to learn to play open and push forward too. That's the purpose of a friendly
LOL. We are playing Algeria's C team. We are being outplayed in every phase. WTF are you talking about??
