I know this sounds stupid, but I don't think they like him. He comes in with no respect because so many Europeans think Iran is a football backwater; instead he amazes everyone, single-handedly supports the team's offense and is probably already in line for a transfer to a bigger team. Jealousy.

I don't think this is a more terrible post than saying Thomas Frank would struggle in the PGPL or Taremi's club teammates aren't passing the ball to him on purpose because they are jealous of him.

Canada games this window: Curacao + Honduras. Didnt train for first week of FIFA window bc of dispute between players and federation over financial issues.

Senegal games this window: 2 afcon qualifiers vs benin and rwanda. Chose not to fill space for friendly.

Cameroon games this window : Burundi.

Are there fans making these "retarded" polls? No. This is special thing for "retard" Iranians I guess.

IS the situation ideal? No. Does it mean you give your world cup place up to Ukraine? No. We need at least 3-4 friendly matches of good quality between now and world cup. Players are mostly based in europe and will be in good shape, unlike previous years that is not big concern. The ones that are in Iran almost all featured in World cup and have euro experience, they know what the level will be like. We have 2 star players who Wales and USA would kill to have on their teams. Even going purely on paper, we are fairly even with these two sides. We are stronger in certain areas than them and vice versa for other positions.

What the players need is as I said, 3-4 friendly games of good quality + to be inn strong shape physically + most critically to be READY mentally. As fans, we can actually impact the last of these 3 categories by stopping these "Retarded" talks.

Time for them to step up. We will not get a better chance to advance from the group stage than this.

His post contained 2 parts. I don’t think Thomas frank would not succeed in pgpl in terms of his quality as a coach, I think he would go insane within 2 of weeks of working in Iran! So insane to the point I can see him leaving football behind. At least I think that’s what would happen to most professional coaches (who are not desperate) and see wtf is going on in our league
