Besides Ali Karimi coming back into the picture Omid Hamedifar of SNA who signed with SS this summer (21) is most relevant DM talent in the league to keep an eye on.

Sepahan with a lot of good signings. The signings + their coaching staff has to put them as favourites in the Persian Gulf Pro League.

Esteghlal beats Andrea Pirlo’s Fatih Karagukuck in a friendly 2-0……impressive first result under Sa Pinto. In addition to the good result apparently some players have been praising the new manager for his training sessions as well (saw it posted somewhere at least). Very good stuff and hope it continuesTeam Meli Iran

Their foreign players and sepahan’s foreign players are also a lot stronger than ours and have better coaching staffs it seems. Persepolis needs a wake up call….I want us to win as many trophies as possible but I don’t want the current issues to be covered up either. Yahya has surpassed his welcome IMOTeam Meli Iran

Of course - rivalry is better when both teams are good and competing for the championship. I do worry tho that pinto will take them a level up from last year we don’t want them to be that ahead of us….you’re right
