He has serious injury that kept him away. When came back from injury despite being team captain along with Mashin Sazi were relegated to League 2. He prefers to stay home but relegation forced him to move to PGL. Rahmati with limited budget prefer young talents .

He really didn't impress last year in the Asian Champions League (after coming off injury, didn't get too much playing time either) and was not a standout against Asian U23s in the Asian Cup.
