Everyone was looking for Yasin Salmani (who has not started the past few matches) to make the leap this year - but it's been another Sepahan youngster that has shined.
Mohammad Ghorbani
21 years old
6'1"
Defensive midfielder.
He has found a starting position in José Morais' squad and has been brilliant this year.
Yasin was real good this game though and had second assist

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I still love Yasin Salmani's profile - he does something few Iranian players do, which is, play with his head up.
As you can see from the highlights, the ball sticks to his feet and he is quite fast. That through-ball pass (assist) was gorgeous. I don't know why he doesn't start anymore but maybe it's just a good way to keep him humble and keep improving. He was literally the best player in the PGPL for the first few weeks, which shows his huge potential.
I still hope he will go to Europe (preferably Portugal) after this season. He signed a one-year contract, so he should have suitors if Jose can put in a good word for him."This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis.
