All players with DOB jan 1, 1998 cabn participate + 3 older players.
Last time all teams participate with their U23 teams or Olympic team and most likely it will be the same this time.

If as per Mahdavi Kia plan we go with U21 + 3U23 players like AFC u23 games we will be the youngest team but little chance to advance.

We sacrificed our U23 players during AFC U23 championship to gaining experience for our U21 future Olympic team.
We are sacrificing Our TM B ( U24+3) once again for our U21 to gain experience.

We will find out in future if this was wise decision

Morocco will be difficult with many legionairres in youth teams of strong euro clubs.

Saudi game will be tough battle and strong test considering how well they fared at AC.

Since start of ISG Azerbaijan and Morocco has won more games and award than others , one gold and one bronze.

We will not do well if we don't prepare well.
2 weeks training including travel time is not ideal.
Sine coaches are not in Iran someone hopefully is negotiating with clubs for release of their players. If there is change in the list simply not enough time but it may come to that only 38 days to the game vesus Azerbaijan.

ISG is Olympic games for over 50 Islamic countries every 4 years. It's not just football but other sports.

Olympic Qualification will start next year . Omid team failed in AFC U23 games not Olympic qualification.

I thought the AFC u23 tourney is the qualification oath to the Olympics….is that not the case any longer? What is the qualification process for Olympics then?
