This is a quarter-iranian guy playing in the belgian league in a position where we already have two outstanding strikers and a number of other great forwards
Ten pages already and the season hasn't even started.
This is why TM fans are the best in the world
He is quite versatile and not true 9. More of a wide option or SS. Would you rather invite him at age 25 or saeid sadeghi types lol

He is not in their list of 23 players that they have submitted to UEFA, so unless they sell someone, he won't be playing European football this season.

They didn't include him in their squad list they sent to UEFA.
If he's not a first team player for his club, why should be in his country's team??

But they have only submitted 21 names out of the 23 possible to UEFA.
So it is still possible, as they have 2 empty slots, that they add Dennis to the list, but it seems more likely they've kept it open for new transfers.
If they wanted him on the list, they would have added him already??

Per belgian reports, he has a minor muscle injury and hence why not included this week

Talks that they are looking to sign a Nigerian striker also. However Eckert Ayensa started the pre season friendlies and also the first league game before his slight niggle. I would be surprised if he isn’t included in the eventual European squad.
USG are known lately for taking players from lower league teams in the top 5 Euro countries. Two of their English players came from Accrington Stanley, Undav who they sold to Brighton came from lower league German football.

But this is the only field (wing-forward/support striker/centre forward options) we are pretty stacked in.
In centre forward (and SS) we have Taremi (also wing-forward too) and Azmoun who are outstanding. Shahab zahedi is an absolute unit and so pesky to play against in the centre.
And in the wide forward and SS positions we have so many talented options:
Mohebi is really awkward to defend against and his true position seems to be inside wing-forward. I still think he has an X-factor which is hard for opponents to deal with
Allahyar has those positions pretty solidly in his repertoire
Hosseinzadeh is a good wing-forward
Jahanbakhsh plays SS pretty well, as does Ghoddos. Both also consider wing-forward their best positions
Some would say Alipour deserves a shot (he can play SS or CF)
Others we have who have played in these positions at different points include Gholizadeh, Ghaedi
And in centre forward we still have Kaveh and Ansarifard who are still 30 and 32
If he were a defensive midfielder then I would be delivering the airport flowers and home visit chelo kabab myself
