Today's match is further proof that AJ is bottom of the pecking order. Dilrosun is the their number 1, followed by Walemark. Idrissi is 3rd, and based on how things are going I would not be surprised if the Brazilian dude they signed is their 4th option. When a team brings in a bunch of new players and they get more playing time than you, it's clear they don't value you.
That leaves Alireza as the bench option in cup matches, and maybe trash minutes in league matches if he's lucky.
He needs to gtfo ASAP if he wants to be match fit for the world cup.

As I said before, he needs to move to a Dutch mid-table (e.g., AZ/Utrecht/Vitesse) or Belgian top-4 team ASAP, other leagues wont be interested in him for now. He needs regular playing time to build up confidence and get his rhythm back.
Really sad, a promising Iranian baller totally destroyed by 2 bad career moves (Brighton + Feyenoord), largely facilitated and suggested by his wannabe agent: A. Hashemi

Don't know why Utrecht option is so unpopular. Azmoun to Leverkusen was described as a perfect match. 6 months later we are far from it.

Regarding Azmoun: Actually a lot of people on this forum (myself included) were explicitly against the Leverkusen move, many preferred a move to Italy (Roma, Atalanta, Napoli, Milan) and even Spain (Sevilla) based on strong signals/rumours that circulated at the time...... Hope he doesn't become a 2nd AJB
