he's the 4th or 5th option winger in Feyenoord.
Btw, Slot denied the Greece rumours. Said Alireza will be with the team next year.

What a tokhmi shot
He also had a very nice pre assist that set up the 6th goal. Overall, I thought he was decent tonight.

Why be an endless source of negativity these days. In my analysis, he did great getting behind the defender. His first touch was perfect. He was patient and waited for ball to settle and not too long for the defender to catch up. Looked up to see what is available to him from a relatively tight angle, took a hard low shot on target and away from goalie where goalie couldn't get down fast enough to stop the ball from getting in. What would you have done differently? If Neymar had scored that goal, would it still be a tokhmi goal? And btw, I am not an ARJ fan but would like to give him credit when he does something right.

It’s obvious the damage was unfortunately already been done by Brighton. He was a really good player with AZ before he went to EPL. It’s not a coincidence that RIGHT when he signed with Brighton his performance went down.
When he finally got a stretch of good performances, he never got a fair shake with Potter.
I would have to credit Skocic for helping ARJ to somewhat “revive” his team melli performances, by giving him the green light to take more shots, and be offensive. He was becoming the best version of his team melli self.
Anyways, I still believe there’s a good and useful player in there. I hope he figures it out.

Time to admit he is just an average player that can have one or good game here or there. Nothing more.

Some updates from Dutch news regarding his situation:- Negotiations with Panathinaikos seem to be stuck, they want to loan him while Feyenoord only wants to sell;
- There are currently some teams from Germany (not disclosed if top flight or not), MLS and Greece in the market for him according to his agent;
- In the following 2 weeks, it will be clear if Alireza stays or makes a move.
