#UPDATE
🇮🇷🔴⚫️ AC Milan have opened discussions with FC Porto for Mehdi Taremi. The Milan club are currently in contact with their agent, Alireza Nikoomanesh.
💰🇵🇹🐉 As previously explained, the striker is interested in the project but still comes up against the intransigence of FC Porto who are demanding 20M € to release the Iranian, an amount estimated too high by the Milanese.
🪑⏳ Nothing is done as Taremi remains an option for Tottenham should Kane leave. #mercato

Porto are going to be garbage next year...what part of that is challenging to understand? All that will happen is instead of "legend" status taremi will be blamed for a goal drought that is brought on because he has zero service. conceicao worked wonders with a weak group last year but losing uribe, otavio, probably costa as well and bringing in more subpar crap as replacements can only be sustainable for so long.
In the past 18 months or so this team lost Luis Diaz, Vitinha, Vieira, Mbemba, Uribe, Diogo Leite, and now soon otavio/costa. Thats almost an entire starting xi worth of talent that currently would walk back into their xi... You guys want him to stay? Can you even name the replacements for these players? They were all bench players that got promoted to starting gigs. Guys like Grujic, Estuqaio, Galeno, Ivan Marcano at age 35, and other subpar players that SC somehow managed to make look semi respectable.
They never even let a player as good as mehdi go into the last year of their contract... Only question is out of Spurs, Inter, AC Milan, and United where he lands.
Mehdi staying at Porto is the only certain career suicide option this summer. Thankfully it seems that situation will be avoided

Porto were spoiled with big players before and are hyped by some Latino fantasy players.
