Does anyone else think it's starting to become less and less controversial to call Taremi our best ever legionnaire?

He has certainly had more world-class performances and newspaper headlines (not just Portuguese but all over Europe) written about him than any other player

We all remember Mahdavikia's performance against Juventus, Daei's brace against Chelsea. Azmoun's champions League group stage performances have been amazing. Nekounam, Rezaei - all were consistent performers for decent European clubs for varying periods of time.

But has any other player had as many consistent outstanding performances whether for league or Europe... For three seasons now?

If he continues then surely at the end of the season it wouldn't be risky calling him out greatest ever, no?

fully agreed. IF he can get us to the next round of the WC somehow he would be in the conversation for our greatest player ever (probably the main part of that conversation actually)

If he repeat that in top 4 league, even for a season then yes.
I know he scored in CL but the gap between big 3+Braga and the rest is huge.
Can't remember when was the last time any other team finished in top 3 of the league

man things haven't changed much since last season ha..? mehdi banging em in and turning in MOM performances and mordekhor Evanilson feeding off our boy's scraps and gracious servings..!

almost forgot how much fun it is watching Porto games..!🤩 as intriguing as a ACMilan ... transfer seems, it's perhaps best if he stayed put another 1/2-1 more season at least..!

Mehdi and Neko still had more seasons at almost same level. Dont forget Mehdi won the assist league in Bundesliga!
