Francisco J. Marques criticizes Taremi's question: "These brave..."
FC Porto's communication and information director criticized a question asked by a journalist from Sport TV to Taremi in the "flash interview" of Estoril-FC Porto.
"Shameful the behavior of the journalist from Sport TV in the questions to Taremi. These brave people never in their lives ask a difficult question to those from Lisbon. In protest, it's fine, Sérgio Conceição did not attend the flash." This was the reaction of Francisco J. Marques, FC Porto's director of communication and information, to the question asked by the Sport TV journalist who was present in the "flash interview" after the game with Estoril (1-1), this afternoon.
Rui Moreira, mayor of Porto and member of the Superior Council of the Dragons, also commented on the topic and Sérgio Conceição, coach of the blues and whites, chose to leave the stadium in silence due to this question.

Seems like SC didn’t do an interview in protest to back up Mehdi right?

The issue is that Ojogo aside, the media are pro-Lisbon clubs - the other newspapers, the TV channels etc...
The english-language Portuguese league podcasters are also either Benfica or Sporting Lisbon fans
They either subtly don't like Taremi e.g. Long Ball who are at least respectful https://twitter.com/LongBallFutebol
Or really hate him and insult him on every pod, e.g. The Portugal Corner https://twitter.com/joao_wonder
The hate is sometimes unreal. It's like if Esteghlal and Persepolis fans teamed up against Sepahan

Money and fame are one thing, honor and loyalty are another.
