He had another good game. Was hoping that they would have given him a little rest at the end but he is too vital for SC.

MOTM game, shame he couldn't put away his 1 on 1 for the cherry on top.
Solemn, wearing black wristband, didnt celebrate any of the goals.

Oh man, what a performance by him. He's by far Porto's most valuable player right now.

Highlights, with a hockey assist on the second goal, and a sublime nutmeg/assist on the 3rd goal

He has been so consistent. The age excuse is such bs...the bigger teams have no clue what they are missing out on by passing on him each transfer season!

The engine that never stops. Porto is a different team with him. He was the architect of the first two goals and assisted the third and facilitated the chance for the fourth by getting the Braga's keeper red-carded. What else could we ask for!

                  Go Mehdi!

If Taremi's form is a sign of anything, it is that the situation in Iran will fuel our players to perform well just to rub it in the face of the IR

Taremi's statements after FC Porto-Braga (4-1), match of the eighth round of the Bwin League

                      Happy and sad
: "I'm happy for FC Porto, we won. But, given what is happening in Iran, I couldn't celebrate the goals. I couldn't out of respect for my people. I'm here because of them too."

About the game: "We had the best chances and did a good job. Fortunately we got the win. It's always extraordinary to play at Dragão, our fans are fantastic. They are our motivation."

In the 9th minute of FC Porto-Braga, Taremi's name was sung in unison

In the 9th minute of FC Porto's reception against Braga, this Friday, in a match for the eighth round of the Bwin League, the Dragons fans chanted in unison the name of Mehdi Taremi, an Iranian forward with the blue and white emblem, at Estádio do Dragão. .

It should be remembered that the international for Iran, being one of the main figures of that selection, has been in the spotlight in recent times, initially in Portugal, after being sent off against Atlético de Madrid, in a Champions League game, and more recently for being a of your country's active voices in defense of women's rights, after the assassination of Mahsa Amini, allegedly for improper use of the Islamic veil (hijab).

President Pinto da Costa and coach Sérgio Conceição, it should be noted, even made a point of publicly supporting the forward.

He doesn't have anything else to prove in Portugal.
Even if he come as sub, at least he tests his capacity in best football stage in world.
Because everyone follow top 3-4 leagues.
Plus he is 30. What happened at the end? He come back to Porto?
