Lol at sporting for subbing in a player and then subbing him out after 15 minutes (no injury). I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

Esgaio and Paulinho are the most criticized and hated players by Sporting fans. Arabian National Team did the same with Nawaf Al-Abed against Argentina. Sometimes the player does not tactically fulfill what the coach intended and this can happen, it must be very difficult to "accept" and conform being the player in this situation...

It was more a desperation sign from a distressed coach trying too hard to finally win a game against his nemesis..! He was warming up subs like in 25th min. .!?
I think by now he may well be like 0-10 vs SC..!?
wouldn’t surprise me if his job coulda been on the line if lose again to Porto ..!?

Do we have any ratings from websites? I think our boy had a very good game. And I do understand that SC subbed him out to not take any risks for injuries now that both Evanilson and Galeno are injured.

Whoscored rated Taremi 7.50, highest amongst all. After Taremi is Galeno 7.2.

After a day off, Porto resumed training preparing for Rio Ave on Saturday. The medical bulletin contains the names of 8 players undergoing treatment: Meixedo, Cardoso, Wendell, Otávio, Veron, Evanilson, Uribe and Galeno - the last two are recovering from micro-tears

I was at the Sporting v Porto game. Really poor quality football for 90 minutes then a frantic injury time. Little final product in the final third - Porto's first goal was a lucky deflected pass. Loads of misplaced passes, particularly by Sporting. Atmosphere was pretty dead too.

Disappointing as these are 2 of the top 3 teams in this league. I feel spoilt by Premier League.

Portuguese sports channels seem to love up Taremi. He's mentioned a lot. I hope he stays here and wins a few more titles.
