I saw the post match interview of the Kayseri coach.

He said that Karimi wasn't at fault for the 2nd goal it was him and his technical staff that found him apt to play in the centerback position. Basically he admitted that it was a mistake to have played him there. He said also that the supporters shouldn't be harsh to him as he's a very good player who just was injured for almost the entire last season.

High class play by majid. The penetration and weight on final pass were perfect.

They won 2-1 and now are level on points with 3rd place. Really strong start to the season for them.

Karimi came on at minute 70 as CDM. Good that he is continuing to get mins under his belt pre WC.

They play 2 matches this week. One in the cup and then final league game vs Konyaspor.

Both got caught with their pants down on a swift counter goal after their winger slipped clumsily lost possession leading to that counter goal..!
first time watching AK in action in a long while ..! personally didn’t see anything different from him than the old still to slow to react Karimi..!?
has excellent poise in possession , spatial understanding decent passing techniques but Slow AF in action & reaction
and not particularly strong enough in possession probably by enlarge useless so far as coping with the usually hectic intensity/pace of WC play ..!?

Hossaini ham still hasnt convinced me to be a sure starter material @CB ahead of much more physically strong, agile and combative Shoja..!!

Final league game vs konyaspor sunday. A win could put them as high as 2nd heading into WC break.

I am sure both will be not only part of WC squad but the way things are shaping up main players too (majid rotating games with shoja, karimi rotating with saeid/nourollahi)
