This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I think they are all probably valid, since IFF isnt working as a unit, everybody has their own agenda (elections or other interest/their own view of whats best for TM)
TM:s biggest problem is as allwayz: IFF.....

I think he's a good club coach, in terms of overall pedigree the most successful Iranian coach which is pretty impressive for a guy in his fifties.
And he still is doing well....
I mean taking Gol Gohar from promoted team to 4th in the PGPL this season is pretty impressive, no? Runner up with Sepahan and Zob-Ahan for the previous two seasons. He's obviously doing something right on a club level
Regarding TM, he came in at a bad time after Branko poisoned the soil of Iranian football and the team was so divided. QF loss is disappointing, but he hardly had much of an opportunity to do anything.
Nevertheless, I don't think he's the right option for TM. I don't think he can heal any rifts, particular with persepolis players. I don't think he has the personality for national team. Maybe he might deserve another shot at some point if he keeps being so solid for the club teams, but not now.
