CQ is the only way out of this mess.

He knows the team and players so the short preparation is not an issue. More importantly, the players know him. He will bring the tactical nous, discipline and desire we need. He will get rid of players like Ahmad Noor. I don’t feel sorry for Skocic. He can say IFF is a shambles (which it is) and go and earn plenty of money in some other Persian Gulf leagues. We don’t owe him a thing.

CQ will bring the team together and give us our best chance. Get it done before Uruguay game.

seems like a pretty even split.
I think silence by some is more deafening than others: people think that Allahyar or Hardani approve of Skocic?

Also, look at the quality in skills between the two sides as well. Why anyone would count Saeed Sadeghi (who was mocked and took down the IG story) is beyond me.

Most want Skocic out - if we were to go by what transpired today.

just like Branko should have thrown out Karimi, if Azmoun is pulling of this non-sense, he should also be crossed off.

            What a disaster.

TM needs a full social media blackout, permanently. Promote whatever you want, as long as it's not football related.

I don't understand why Azmoun has to open his mouth and start this mess! One would assume his conduct should have been more professional having played in Europe. I am sure he knows his ass will be kicked rightway if he dares to talk about coaching staff at his club Leverkusen. So, why does he think is alright to do this in Iran and TM and create this mess! I have one advise for him and that is no matter who the coach is going to be, his poor and sub par performances over the past couple of years, is not going to buy him a permanent place in the team unless he shakes up and get back to being a real goal scorer, otherwise we have players who can steal his spot in no time! Shahab Z. is watching!!

As for the rest of supporters of top coach Sko-hitch, they are obviously doubting their continued presence should a real coach comes along and see their performances. Like do you really think Norafkan or Sarlak can even a get a 1 minute of play under CQ. Heck No!

When it comes to the likes of Ahmad Nourallahi, Shoja Khalilzadeh, Omid Noorafkan and Milad Sarlak ... Skocic is the only coach who actually thinks they can play so of course they will support him.

The benefits of CQ coming = more legionnaires going to Europe and the likes of Milad Sarlak and Shoja Khalilzadeh never being invited again!

Honestly I don't know why everyone is bashing Sardar so much. I'm in the CQ camp of course and yeah, he made a mistake posting without talking to the team (apparently), but his post was calling for support for Team Melli, less hashieh, and perhaps he thinks there would be a worse option to replace Skocic that isn't CQ. Given IFF's track record as of late that isn't shocking.

Some of the comments towards him here are disgustingly vicious. Just relax for a bit instead of calling for him to be crossed off through unnecessary knee-jerk reactions.

We forget that Sardar "quit" TM once after a hissy fit. He is a very emotional guy and sometimes can't control what comes out of his mouth (or how it comes out). I think he will still have a place in TM if/when CQ comes back and he and CQ have a tete-a-tete (similar to what Taremi and Skocic had after their phone tag saga).

sardar is like ali karimi - talented but lacks leadership and maturity. to be clear - he's a more important player for TM and a better club player than karimi ever was, and less dramatic and toxic than karimi, but the point is that he thinks his talent gives him the right to act as a spokesman or leader for the team.

no problem with him posting a message about solidarity and supporting the team, but dumb and childish to pretend like he represents the team. the older more mature players quickly corrected him. he didn't think it through. he probably thought he was doing the right thing and that he was speaking for the team, was just a dumb move.

                            Our WC preparation so far:

                            1. IFF bounce back and forth about who the coach will be and create doubt for everyone

                            2. Play one friendly, and lose to Algeria's B team

                            3. Total divide and collapse of all active TM members due to social media

4 months left until we play England

                                you're forgetting:

-taremi vs skocic feud and taremi getting temporarily booted from the team
-the humiliating global coverage of our canceled Canada friendly

this ALL goes back to wilmots. objectively, and on paper, the federation did a decent job bringing in a seasoned european coach like wilmots. wilmot's utter failure is what started this whole disaster.

if wilmots had just done his job and gotten us through our easy path to the WC, he'd still be coach, there'd be some continuity in the squad (even with a mediocre coach like wilmots at the helm), and there'd be some harmony heading into qatar.

instead, wilmots' incompetence and selfishness put us in a horrible position and lose-lose of either (a) unjustly getting rid of sko which is unfair (b) going to the WC with sko and getting embarassed.

                                F wilmots.
