I'm very disappointed in the situation. None of this is professional. At this level of football the players and staff should be behaving in an ethical and professional manner.

My personal preference is CQ any day over Skocic. However, even if you don't like the manager, you need to respect them and play for them. This is the national team. Hopefully this gets resolved quickly!

Think that will be the end of Skocic then. If even one member of the squad is not fully bought in, that signifies failure of head coach and must be removed. To have this level of disunity a few months before kickoff is a disaster. Get him out ASAP. CQ first choice, if not daei or nekounam with some high level assistants is good option. Morocco just fired halilodzic and brought in domestic coach last week

Chi migi Agha?? The only one, who got a professional structure and discipline into our crooked and corrupt federation was CQ! TM went from an average 2nd rate Asian team, to a world class squad that would scare Argentina, Portugal and Spain. Which coach has ever achieved anything like that?

Unfortunately because of what has now transpired it can’t be CQ either.

I like Halilhodzic a lot but if we get him be prepared for some very left field choices.

Iranian coaches bring in Daei or Nekounam and force Bagheri back as a disciplinarian.

A comprehensive and abysmal failure of leadership from Mr. Dragan Skocic. From the beginning I could tell he is a cab driver or dishwasher.

People blaming Skocic for this is just a joke. Also, people that blame CQ for this are wrong.

After we got the 4 wins with Skocic and moved to the final stage of qualification, IFF was out saying that we are looking into the coaching situation and we'll do what's best for TM. WTF!!!! And since then at every turn, IFF and SM have done nothing but to cause doubt about the future of Skocic. Who does that? Support your coach 100% until you are sure you want to fire him. IFF and SM caused this by the support of fans who don't think about consequences and always want to see what is behind curtain 2. I said many times here, lets unite behind TM or we'll end up with a split locker room. We have to look at ourselves. Skocic and CQ had nothing to do with this. 2006 is repeating. It keeps happening to us. Blame our institutions, our fans and to some extend, our self centered players. It is in our culture.

Any player who wants a coaching change should do the right thing and resign from the team immediately and then go public with their comments. At the same time it is wrong of Sardar to post a statement on behalf of the whole team without their unanimous consent. However, just because some do not repost the same statement on their page, it does not mean they disagree. By the way, there is no way CQ or any other respectable coach will take this assignment without a very substantial signing bonus. We might end up with a Jalal Talebi type who was not any worse than the current coach.

                    Disgraceful.
A country of thousands of years of history but yet at every turn we are weak and disorganized.

Sick of this new generation of instagram diva soccer players and Iranians for this botparasti. Any player who thinks themselves above a coach or a team should never play football again. I swear our team is like United without the budget.

Bring in whoever to coach but make sure you leave the players in the locker room for a week and let Bagheri personally kick the **** out of every player until they are compliant and respectful

It is very clear that Taremi is heading this rebellious destructive campaign against Skocic in favour of one particular person namely Carlos Querioz. Why he is doing it? It is very obvious. But what I predict is that he won't get what he wants simply because IFF don't have any money to satisfy CQ's appetite and greed - and he won't do well in Porto next season because every time he veers off football and gets involved in stupid things, he become Naghi Mamooli. He is a bit stupid really. Sad very sad.

The anti Skocic fans are part of the problem, sorry but some members are very negative.

This level of disunity harms TM whoever the coach is - Queiroz, Skocic or the ghost of Tchaikovsky

We have to always remember that it’s never the players, never the coach, but always IFF who meddles and messes up for Team Melli.

I’m gonna keep it simple. I love CQ, I think he is the best manager for this team and gives us best chance to advance

Having said that, I am sick and tired of the sabotage against Skocic. Idk what’s happening behind the scenes, but we need guys like taremi and whoever else to back down and support CURRENT COACH. As a player, it’s your job to support the CURRENT MANAGER. If IFF decides to fire skocic then so be it, at the end of the day as a player you ARE A SOLDIER, not decision maker. Shame on the players causing drama and wanting new coach

So you are saying that CQ can't revolutionize our soccer in 3 months???
