If half the players don't support the coach, do you see how your argument collapses?

Lastly, there is a time and place for Critique and dissent. One does not critique and dissent when you are about to go to war, if you want to win the war. That is the time to unite and put your differences aside. Otherwise, half of your soldiers will believe in the cause and half won't.

Of course not, because they aren't bots and can analyze the situation for themselves (and better than any of us). As you say, let's "support the team" and let them make their own conclusions about their situation.
When you belittle someone and poke players, this would be the exact result that we are getting right now.

The strongest feature of TM under Carlos was the unity amongst the squad. Who ever felt like they were above the team (Rahmati, Aghili, Khalatbari, etc) all got cut. His stern belief that the TM shirt is not owned by anyone, rather it is gifted and borrowed by a TM player is what allowed us to be united. This carried onto the field too, which is why everyone defended so well and we had a strong core.
If you watch the clips of Skocic, nobody is even listening to him when he talks. They just let him finish, and Ansarifard or Jahanbaksh comes and talks to the team. It is unclear who the coach even is, and there is no respect. Regardless, the players should've tried to keep this internal and speak amongst themselves / the federation. Posting on social media is so fucking stupid.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

Secondly, you can ask yourself why would a player feel comfortable to do such a thing. And that is where fan's opinion and not being supportive of TM comes to play. If you go back and read my post, I predicted this very thing and why I begged everyone to support TM.

It is ABSOLUTELY the duty of a soldier to refuse an order from a superior (ie coach) if they know it is wrong.
It is ABSOLUTELY the duty of a soldier to dissent if their leader (ie coach) is sending them into battle to simply die for no good reason (ie ill-prepared, poorly-trained, poorly-equipped, no plan of action).
We may like the fantasy of a iron-clad unified team, but that is simply not the case with individual, free-thinking humans. You either have a leader that the soldiers/team can rely on and will put their lives on the line for...or you don't. It's simple as that. CQ did that (and could do that again). Skocic just can't (I'm sure he's a nice guy and I would love to have a dough with him some time, but he just doesn't have the ability to inspire that in all our players).

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

You can't expect the leaders to instill discipline and earn respect if you don't give the leader the power and the tools that they need.
As for military examples, sorry about that. Lets stick with soccer. Do you believe that a player should take it upon himself to change the coach? Creating a split locker room? Maybe you do. I don't.

(200K-300K per year) CQ had a 4 year 1.5-2 million a year contract. So to get rid of him, you had to buy him out of that. It is easy to get rid of Rahmati and Khalatbari, when you have a contract like that and you know that you are untouchable and can force your will on the team. Players have no choice but to fall in line. Skocic had none of that. If he did, Taremi was not playing for TM anymore. Of course, Taremi would have never picked a fight with Skocic if he knew that SKocic is here to stay.

When we got the WC18 draw against Spain/Portugal/Morrocco, my heart dropped. I thought, oh god, we're in the group of death. Do you remember what CQ's first reaction was? He said how wonderful it was to be able to go up against quality teams, the best teams in the world, in this group. His first reaction was of instant inspiration and calming. He did that every day for our players, and if it wasn't for inches, we'd have made it out of the group that included Spain and Portugal!!!
Again, nothing against Skocic's character/integrity, but his response to the WC22 draw was: "I can beat England cause I'm Croatian". Did this inspire you, or did it make you laugh uncomfortably? Now put yourself in our players' shoes. This is what they feel every day as well.
