If CQ comes back and I think he will, the players will all fall in line. No one wants to miss the last great WC with the chance to play against England and the US. CQ will have plenty of time to get the morale up and the atmosphere disciplined again, he's king at that.
The only missing piece is CQ coming back!! After that I think we'll be in good shape. But now we know for sure Sko has to go
This Taremi is some kind of a snake. I want him out of team melli.
Lol, he's like the nicest guy and his teammates at Porto love him. CQ and SC and Carvahal love him. Porto and TM fans adore him. I don't think snake is the correct adjective.

What do you call a player who has undermined his coach for almost 4 years?! What do you call a guy who outs his team mate on twitter because he supported his coach? He has been a CQ trojan horse from 2018 all because the dalal supposedly got him to Portugal. This guy is the same guy whose behavior screwed Persepolis for 3 years luckily there was a Branko that came in and won 5 cups with nothing.
Farzad jaan, I think if a coach's contract is what determines player confidence/comradery/inspiration/etc, then we should have been a stellar team under Wilmots too (he had an Iron clad contract, and we owe him 3-6M for 6 months of work lol). Obviously, that was not the case. It's the COACH (not his contract) that determines if players will fall in line and if they will give their blood, sweat and tears. If Skocic inspired that in the team, they would be doing that RIGHT NOW, and we'd maybe get 4-6 points in the group stage and Skocic would be a hero even bigger than CQ. But do you honestly think we're headed in that direction? Is your gut telling you we'll be successful?
When we got the WC18 draw against Spain/Portugal/Morrocco, my heart dropped. I thought, oh god, we're in the group of death. Do you remember what CQ's first reaction was? He said how wonderful it was to be able to go up against quality teams, the best teams in the world, in this group. His first reaction was of instant inspiration and calming. He did that every day for our players, and if it wasn't for inches, we'd have made it out of the group that included Spain and Portugal!!!
Again, nothing against Skocic's character/integrity, but his response to the WC22 draw was: "I can beat England cause I'm Croatian". Did this inspire you, or did it make you laugh uncomfortably? Now put yourself in our players' shoes. This is what they feel every day as well.
Doctor, I wish we could just go to a pub and discuss this over a beer or three... Anyways, before a coach can give confidence/comradery/inspiration, he has to instill discipline. If CQ had everyone fall in line, what was the Rahmati and Khalatbari episodes then? There is always, in every team, some players that don't like the coach or his decisions and can cause trouble and then there are others who are impressionable. The Impressionable ones can stay but the troublemakers have to go. CQ was given the tools he needed to instill discipline and Skocic was not.
As far as "I can beat England cause I'm Croation", I think everyone except Skocic haters understood it for the light hearted joke that it was. Once you dislike someone, anything he does or say will rob you the wrong way. Same with CQ. I used to love everything he said and did. But once some doubts crept in my mind about him, everything he said sounded self serving to me. Like his comment after the draw to me sounded like "we are going up against the strongest teams in the world, so don't have any expectations. If I manage to get a draw, treat me like a hero, but if we lose, no big deal". I would have much rather hear, "we are a strong, hardworking, confident team and on a good day, we can beat any team in the world". Would inspire more confidence and wouldn't sound arrogant.
He was not right fully cut , look at the clown nourahalli he was deemed worse that ghaedi at his club team but was still a starter for skocic , it this bullshit double standard cock-itch has ,,, where he lets a player like nourallahi play 90 min, he lets nourafkhan play 90 minutesโฆ.. they are bench players attt best , in my opinion donโt even deserve to be in the TM..
Ghaedi was an outright failure at al ahli from the start. He got less playing time. Noorollahi definitely got worse but he got more playing time at Al ahli.
