Assist for our boy!"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Subjected myself to that awful match.
Really poor performance from Allahyar besides the run and the assist. (Before you jump on me look at his ratings). Had a slight shoulder discomfort near the end of the match.
Clearly not the same player as pre injury. Doesn't even seem the physical, seems like a psychological thing. Caught out of position alot, making sloppy passes, doesn't press or challenge strong enough.
Hopefully next season he gets a fresh start and proves himself enough to gain some interest from better clubs.

Millwall are a well drilled defensive team and were unlucky not to at least draw. The fact he wasn’t having a great game but still set up the winning goal and then did his job in tracking back and helping out defensively at the end. He had some good moments from those throw ins and layed off to Tufan with a clever header and before that played a nice ball to Traore which he did not control.
I know you’re a lower league fan so you know out of most on here just how these games pan out. Flair players don’t always get the ability to showcase that and have to make the most of the opportunities they do get which he did today.

Anyways, at least this season can be chalked up to injuries.

He is being kept on in games and if subbed it is towards the end of the game due to watching his minutes.
As you say I think the injuries have had a big impact. If he can get some more goals/assists by the end of the season then that will give momentum into next.
He is still learning, don’t think his club know what their identity is on the pitch either which doesn’t help and have struggled with injuries all season so no consistency at all.

Here we have the breakthrough player in Prem. First domestically trained iranian player to make it in the prem in the future.
I am the first to say dont go to english leagues, but this guy has the necessary stamina, strength and speed combined with decent technical ability to fit well into english style of football.
Match fit, he is a key player for this team and him and Ozun Tofan are on a higher level than championship.

Reports in Iran claim Bolton target Andranik Teymourian has been refused a work permit.
Andranik Teymourian's move to Bolton Wanderers could be in doubt after reports in Iran revealed the midfielder has been refused a work permit.
The 23-year-old impressed Trotters manager Sam Allardyce during his country's World Cup campaign in Germany earlier this summer and was offered the chance to win a move to The Premiership during a trial.
Teymourian had previously stated that he was expecting to join Bolton following his trial at The Reebok Stadium but the move is now in jeopardy after the Home Office turned down the request for a work permit.
Non-EU players must have played at least 75 percent of their country's internationals over the past two years in order to be allowed to play in The Premiership.
Teymourian only forced his way into the Iran national team squad last year and has just 10 caps, therefore does not meet the Home Office's criteria.
Bolton are likely to appeal the ruling, with Allardyce expected to put forward strong reasons to bring the Abu Muslem star to England.
Should Bolton appeal, an independent panel will consider Teymourian's credentials and the Iran ace may still be allowed to ply his trade in The Premiership next season should they think he is of sufficient calibre

Work permit the obstacle for 'Ando' Sports
August 15, 2010 - 0:0
BLACKBURN, The final hurdle between Andranik Teymourian and a contract with Premier League outfits Blackburn Rovers could be too much to handle for the Iranian midfielder.
In order to earn a work permit for the Premier League, a player from a non-EU country needs to have featured in at least 75% of his national team's matches in the past two years, while his nation must be among the top 70 teams of the world according to FIFA rankings.
Teymourian, surely a backbone of the Iranian national team (ranked 65th in the latest FIFA ranking), played in 11 of 13 games in the past year, however, doesn't fulfill the criteria for the needed two-year-spell.
'Ando' missed numerous national team games under Ali Daei in 2009, either due to injury or the games being held outside the FIFA schedule, however, also a few because Daei refused to call the then Fulham player up due to lack of match praxis.
Players not meeting the demanded criteria could still obtain a work permit if they are deemed ""able to contribute significantly to the development of the game at the top level in the UK"", according to the rules.
In 2006 Teymourian had been granted the permit to join Bolton Wanderers according to this regulation after he had been unable to meet the 75%-rule, as he hadn't debuted before 2005 in the Iranian national team.
However, if he, after a quite good Bolton but a disastrous Fulham spell, will again granted an exception, is uncertain at this point of time and so Teymourian's dream to pursue his career in England's top league might well find a sudden end in the coming days.

Dont remember the details but Maybe someone does and can post them so I dont recall it incorrectly. So we actually had an ok PL player before that but everybody seams to forget about it. 😁

Bruh and I tots agree that Ando was good and in fact did some kind of breakthrough. But the thing is he never became a fix starter for Bolton and later on Fulham. I used to follow his games and he had impressive stints during his two years in Bolton.
He had one super goal after a beast mode super sprint Ill never forget.
