Anyone expecting Iran to string together passes against Iniesta, Messi, Di Maria, Ronaldo, etc are delusional. It's Iran.. Our team is not very stacked on paper. Sorry
some fans would rather lose 4-2 to brazil with 2 meaningless goals.
    skocic fans always move goalpost
    1. we are undefeated, we must keep skocic we have won every game so far
    2. we only tied SKorea, they are a good team! we had no fans in stadium!
    3. a win is a win, no matter how poor we look (vs war torn arab teams)
    4. 2-0 loss to Korea was not bad, we had injuries, the game was meaningless. and sardar and allahyar missed chances! forgetting that we held korea 0-0 with eza RED CARD for an entire half, korea barely threatened our goal. KOREA had not qualified yet and it was almost amust win for them
    5. algeria game is just a friendly, he is only testing noorafkan!

I watched Esteghlal coach Saopinto in a short video talking about his plan and the steps he wants to take with the team. Simple and clear and right to the point. He said it all in a few sentence.. I like the guy already!

This Skocic guy has never been able to communicate clearly to anyone; players, fans, IFF.! .. no body knows what goes on in his head.

A good coach is not just about technique and tactics on the pitch. It is also about all the soft skills like communication, leadership, relationship building that set one apart from another. Skocic does not have any soft skill and the problems we see today with TM being in such a mess are equally his fault for not being able to manage the team. He thinks he is there just to coach while other people do the talking.

Bringing him back is a biggest mistake federation can commit.

Exactly what we did with CQ after S. AFRICA camp. Just instead we decided give the guy more time unlike Skocic. I invite you to read the comments some supposed CQ fans made after the club team loss in S. AFRICA.

This is my point about not living in reality....

Also I find the constant mentioning of experimental friendlies against club teams really really tiring.

Who here mentions one of our greatest coaches Ivic losing 7-1 to AS Roma B

            Or Branko losing 3-0 to QPR's C-team?

This repetition is equivalent to spamming imho

Yes the mighty Spain that didn't impress in any of their games and lost to Russia in the next round. Portugal same thing...

We don't even have to theorize, when (against both teams) we reminded ourselves that we also can play football, you saw that we gave both teams a good amount of trouble.

Maybe they were exhausted after playing against Iran, Morocco and each other? Portugal were European champions and Spain were the penultimate world champions. Just because their tournament run ended in that stage, doesn't make them not strong opponents.

It was a brutal group, particularly given the strength and expectations of Morocco who had a whole host of players at their peak playing throughout Europe. The gap between the transfer value between Iran's team and the other three on transfermarkt was more than any other country in other groups.

HAHAHAH... According to khabar online, Skocic is staying as our HC.

                      correct.
becoz Wilmots (a far more famous and well known coach than Skocic) used my neighbors, their cousins and a couple of kids from the next street. Not a single player from CQ's team. Thats why he failed miserably and almost got us eliminated.
                      right?

                      anyway.
what's done is done. And I dont agree with this decision.
We are an extremely ungrateful peoples, as a nation.

So when is Guardiola or Klopp coming to take over TM?
                      This week?

Agreed. If we would have appreciated Queiroz achievements (both at the time, and for the future) instead of having fantasy views of TM/Iran's football who knows what would have happened

                          Namak nashnasi is indeed endemic.

ironically I think after his first 3 years, more and more ppl started appreciating him. And by the time he left, he was immensely popular. (idiotic officials aside).
But he didnt leave becoz ppl didnt appreciate him.
he left bcoz IFF didnt have any money to pay him and his crew's fees.

Not the same case as this

We are not ungrateful people Doctor jan. We are hypocritical. We burn one person for the same reasons we praise another. We give 8 years after poor results to one and fire another after our easiest qualification ever.

People talk about spamming when we bring up Orlando Pirates, Syria etc. Then they conveniently do the same by mentioning As Roma 7-1 or Algeria and South Korea. Both under terrible circumstances and already qualified.

                                Hypocrisy is endemic!
