I know he's not high caliber, but he's well known internationally and seen as so. That's why I put the quotes

Also youre just ignoring the substance of what Skocic did in Bahrain as if it doesn't matter. That wasn't easy

The same (obviously with a much lower talent pool) would have been our last remaining hope had this guy somehow managed to hold his position after 2 years of hard evidence that he wasn't up to the job but thankfully that isn't the case any longer. It also doesn't help that this clown couldn't even keep the harmony within the camp which is at least the most basic requirement of any manager/leader.

I feel sad for him om a Human level. It must be sad doing all the hard work, and then someone Else taking over 4 months before your dreams come true. He hasnt done anything wrong, and he did the Best he could. And im happy that he gave me a stressfri qualifying campain. Only people being stressfull were Those who wanted him and the team to fail, so they point the fingers at strangers on a football Forum. Really sad life if you ask me.

If this is true, I can live with it, if CQ comes. Because he knows the team, so it is easier to implement his tactics.
If some iranian coach comes just because he has friends in High places, then shame on Those for pushing this agenda. And if we should fail Big time in the World cup, then you have no right to say anything

I care not for how many fools around the globe might have thought Wilmots was a good manager just because they knew of his name, he remains a crap manager, same as Skocic, Southgate etc.

Skocic's achievements can be boiled down to 2 high pressure wins in Bahrain against Bahrain and Iraq and then the 8 home and away wins against the Arab lot. Well done to him for that but the growing evidence of his failures is far more noteworthy and negates any credit he may have built up for them. We looked like crap in almost every game (and progressively worse as time wore on under his leadership). He's developed literally no player for TM, not a single soul. He's lost the belief and trust of his players, including at least one high profile fallout with our most important player. We have continued to go backwards for 2 long and painful years under him so excuse me if I take this moment to rejoice.

I like the hypocrisy, two players go the Raisi office and change the Coach. The presidents office gets involved and changes a coach and people here are happy. This is the same people who ask for democracy, this is wrong on so many levels. But it’s normal for us Iranians to act this about everything, surly ungrateful.

Would you as an international coach want to work under these circumstance? Only an idiot would accept the job now...unless he's paid Wilmots cash!

He hasn't done anything wrong? Noorafkan, Sarlak and Ahmad Nouro...

Also the team isn't united anymore. If a coach fails at uniting the team, then he has to go. Guardiola even said that he left Barca in 2012 because he couldn't motivate his players anymore.

You Think a New coach gonna drop Those players? You are im for a surprise. Maybe you Can create a petition to fire the New coach when you see his squad

Furthermore, does Shojaei ring a Bell? CQ kept inviting him and kept playing him, eventhough we all thought he was trash. He even started our World cup game vs Morocco!
Every coach has some players that the fans dont like. And we are Iran, we dont have 100 good players

As I Said, if someone like CQ comes, I Can live with this. But I dont like that the coach has Been fired because of circumstances outside of football. He wasnt fired because of his results, but because of a witch hunt since Day one and politics. This is not proffesionel and we Will never progress if continue like this as people
Lets see if some iranian coach gets the job and invite his sons and newphews to the squad. Or some player that he owes a favour

You can’t go downhill when you’re already at the bottom of the hill. That’s where we were under skocic

What??? So what do you Call the period before Skocic? Are you guys really that stubborn that you are lying to yourself and others? Of course it Can get worse. And many are worried because we fear what is coming.

To say that is cant be worse, eventhough you have a proof that he made things better than it was, is crazy. This isnt a football Forum.. except for a few members it is impossible to have a football talk in here. Because people just Lie and Stick to agendas
