Thanks Dragan for taking charge of Team Melli when nobody else had the balls to. For a manager with little international experience you not only helped pick up our national team when they were in the bad position, but you helped qualify our team to the World Cup.

Whether or not our WCQ’ing group was easier compared to the other doesn’t matter. You still executed your job and you were the manager of the second half.

Seriously thank you, not easy in Iran if your name is not big, no matter what you do you will be in trouble, thats the culture. If Dragan was TM coach 8 years and reached exactly the same results CQ reached ( i mean exactly) he still would have been destroyed.
I am sure he will get a very well paid job in some middle eastern countries, at least i hope so , he deserves it because he is a good person.sadly tm seriously looks like a team which never played together before, thats the problem...

Apparently some of you biased people just can't see the difference between being completely outplayed and losing to Mexico and Portugal + drawing vs world cup minnows Angola &....


Defeating Morocco, Barely losing to Spain via pure fluke, and drawing vs Portugal.

Even his first world cup 2014 had clearly better results.

If you don't like his defensive game plan and feel that your desires to watch "more entertaining" football are more important than our results, like pretty much anyone against CQ here, then I can't help you buddy lollll.

Results? What did we win with CQ? Defeating Morocco with own goal? What about Bosnia, Japan, Nigeria matches? Ya we had moments and victories but results are measured in standings. When results were on the line his teams cracked under pressure. His best result was being #1 fifa ranked in Asia...not much else to write home about after 8 years. Not ungrateful. He did more off the pitch for our football than on.
