I think we’re way past this point. He has no authority with fans, half the team, and half of the sport bureaucracy in Iran

Tbh guys, no matter what.... Taremi >skocic.

Losing taremi is a much bigger loss than losing skocic.

Sorry some people can’t handle the truth. Training standard is crap, players not worthy of invite are regularly present (do you guys even remember the name of the mes rafsanjan midfielder that was invited last time, mehdi shiri, etc. I mean come on).
Besides taremi 11+ TM players confirmed his message. I wonder if all of those require removal. All that will be left is perspolis Starting xi minus Pouraliganji plus Gholizadeh and Azmoun. I guess that’s what some are after.
Again it highlights how weak Skocic man management skills are, that he has managed to so badly alienate his best player and 11 others (mainly legionnaires).

Clearly Skocic has lost his team and everything about our preparations has been crap. Any person in Iran and in this forum could have told us that.

I totally disagree with your first sentence. I don't think Ferdowsipour is a national treasure. He is among the best of a bunch of terrible game narrators. And he is a terrible interviewer by professional standards. His interview with Skocic was horrible. He uttered twice as many words as his subject and inserted his opinion everywhere. He rambles all the time, throughout all his shows.

His show is the best of a bunch of terrible IRIB shows. But is that the standard of a treasure?

And by interviewing Taremi and releasing this interview at this time, he has helped Taremi ruin his chances of playing at WC2022 and ruining Iran's chances. This last act has made me wonder if he is an opportunist that cares for himself more than Iranian football.

Taremi is arguably our most important player currently. Without him, Azmoun has no support, therefore we do not score. it is pretty simple, we need Taremi and he knows it too

ferdosipour actually was very fair to sko and gave him a forum to express himself which nobody else has until this point. Maybe we watched a different show.

He did the same with majedi, Daei, and Taremi. He interviewed the icon of iranian football, the current head coach, the sitting president, the best player, and the legendary ex captain of another important sport (Marouf). These people (minus Sko) dont give such sit down interviews to anybody frequently. There is a reason they make exception for adel.

What you take from the interview in terms of the content is what it is and everybody is free to draw their own conclusions. There is no ulterior motive behind his work. If you want to hide reality (have certain individuals not allowed to express their opinions) then that is your own agenda.

True. Anyone who doubts this can look at our Semifinal Asian Championship match against Japan (Taremi suspended due to red card)

It is not about hiding reality. It is about giving a player a forum to hurt themselves and TM. Going after individual TM players with a history of a loose mouth at this critical juncture, be it Taremi or Sardar, is irresponsible. It is not the place of the players to dictate who should or shouldn't be the coach.

There is responsible journalism and there is self-serving journalism. Adel was not helping anyone with this interview but himself.

Why should a journalist not ask the questions? It is up to the interviewee to decide how he or she should answer. Not sure why we are even considering that Ferdoisipour should curb himself, if he does so then he is not a journalist worth his salt.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I couldn't agree more with you on your last paragraph. Why would any ethical journalist or commentator arrange a potentially explosive interview at this point in time? The situation is highly delicate. Why pour more fuel on the fire? This is tantamount to inviting two guys who are still reeling from a vicious physical fight they had an hour earlier to get together somewhere without any mediator . It makes you realize this guy thrives on creating volatile encounters and controvery. Very poor timing and a tactless act all around.
