Ostad it is natural that the two forwards in a 4-4-2 are involved in 11 of the 15 goals. If taremi is taken out, another player will replace him. It is not that we'll play with a man down... Anyways, that was when Taremi and Azmoun were buddy, buddy. Not certain that is the case anymore.

CQ played a 4-2-3-1 (with Azmoun as the sole striker) in the match against Japan when Mehdi was missing due to red card (Asian Cup 2019). So even CQ didn't/couldn't replace him.

Also, replacing Taremi is not currently possible (unless you have another Iranian top 6 Euro league striker we don't know about?)

Man just compared the management of FC Porto and Brighton under the greatest managerial talent in the modern game to some clueless Croatian koobideh-munching pagan. This affair really is wreaking havoc with minds.

Not actually comparing managements, I am comparing two players behaviour. Porto and BHA to IFF is simply incomparable. But I agree they have a much more punishing, no-nonsense approach to their management of players. But that is what we all agree where Skocic is in a weak position. Skocic is not clueless. He got us out of a dig and qualified us faster than anyone else had done ending up top of the group. A clueless manger would not be able to that! But Skocic unlike Porto or BHA does not have many options. There is one Taremi in the entire country and if he punished him he will be even more unpopular. And thats why we get this uppity attitude from these players like Ali Karimi, Azizi, now Taremi because they know they are indispensable. If we had two or three taremi level strikers, none of them would utter a word against anyone! The reality is we have very few players at international level, who can be half reliable and the rest we just have to hope they will have a good day on the match day and not fuck up too much.

After the Bahrain game this was the most painful TM match for me. The lack of professionalism and total collapse went against everything leading up to that match.
