It depends of TM coach favoring forever IPL/QSL wingers like mohebi, ghaedi and torabi or not

Let him touch the ball five times first. Just inhaling oxygen in Europe isn’t enough to say he is better than x or y.

I think best players should be picked no matter where they play. Agree that Europe is a better place for player development, but we should not pick a weaker player who plays in Europe vs a stronger player who plays in Iran. Remember, Europe is not for everyone. Beiro is the perfect example.

I don’t think Hosseinzadeh was in the squad for the game. Gholizadeh started and played the full game.

Did anyone see how he played?
LiveScore had him down playing as striker.
Gholizadeh never made it off the bench but they won 1-0.

Honestly i am not convinced taking Gholi to WC. Let alone starting him.

Who do we take instead if he wasn’t to go?

At this stage and the way he plays, Mohebbi, Hosseinzadeh can be the alternatives. We have options off the wingers.

I agree that his form has not been good at all lately. I did think he looked dangerous coming off the bench in the Uruguay game. Didn’t see enough of the Senegal game to be able to give an opinion.

He failed to adjust his game to european football.
I mean an excellent dribbler like AK8 learned how to defend, how to cover the field, etc in one season at Bayern. But he is been playing outside for 3-4 season and you would just say he just left Iran.
That's is why he doesn't have any real better offers.
Usually club like Charleroi is a bridge for any young footballer. He was quite young when he joined them. Dar jaa zad bad jor

He obviously needed to make the move to help him get to the next level. He has stagnated and has also got to comfortable. It hasn’t helped that he has played under different managers and having to adapt with different team mates around him. He played best when Rezaei was fit and playing with him.

Im pretty sure hosseinzadeh will make final list if he starts from now until WC.

The way things are looking, he can be a great option on the wing for us. ARJ and Gholi were both very poor in the friendlies.
