Can't believe he doesn't have a dedicated thread on PFDC. The man and the legend of Iranian football for sure for more than 3 decades. He has had a come back on 360 show with his amazing interviews so let's talk about his new stuff here.

    Here is his recent video.

😔 wish they had subtitles, growing up as a diaspora Iranian and being unable to read Persian is a devastating.

In the process of learning it tho 🤣 I can speak pretty well, just can't read/write to save my life

Learn the alphabet, then read some easy stuff then when your level progressed, read some stuff you like (like football sites). Repetition and learning tons of vocabulary (their spelling I mean) is key.
Unfortunately with the vowels not written and the several t, s, z... You need that.

Use google translate even if these racists neglected persian and unfortunately don't provide the words' sound

You're welcome. I went through this, that's not a miracle recipe but it helps to reach a good level.

About writing it is tougher. You can train to write each letter again and again and then words/sentences. The biggest problem is that without a teacher you will write like a 7 y o kids or like a computer. Everything will be well executed contrary to the messy Iranian handwriting. For that you need to learn the nastaliq way of writing..
