These mid level good talents internationally like Fabregas, Ansarifard, Moharrami give iranian youth anf iran football a moral victory.

These excellent results theyre gaining regardless of age really shows every aspiring young footballers what is possible in worst case scenario. Moharrami endured to become a househoöd name and champions in croatia. Fabregas became league and cup champion at old age after not even making it in second bundesliga.

There is room for development and it is realistic. Now they cannot say buhu after being benvhed trying their wings in competitive environment. The lesson quite frankly is that learning and succes is controlled failure.

      LOL fabregas

youre 100% right though. It’s every players dream to play in CL and heck even EL is an honor. That level of competition is as high as it gets in club footy…..

that is part of the reason when our players get transferred to these kinds of teams it’s a huge W for TM. Ehsan to AEK was one of my all time favorite transfers….instead of a 1 million dollar contract in Iran or a 1.5-2 million dollar contract in Qatar he chose to go to a big team with a rich history that competes in European competition. The runs he gets vs quality opposition make him better suited to suit up against teams like Japan and SK bc he knows the speed and quality of the game those players bring. PGPL players simply do not have minus some exceptional talents like Torabi.

even training with those guys on AEK who are top quality players like pineda, vida, garcia, makoudi, etc. naturally raises your level. The highlights posted above from the trabz friendly is evidence of this too….his passes as 100x more crisp, his speed and alertness is 200x what it is in PGPL, and even his confidence is higher look at the pressing he withstood and played a nice ball to his midfielder. You haven’t seen this from this guy ever and it’s a result of a smart club decision.

Incredible UEFA, there is only two iranians in their competitions and each time they end against each other.
Now wait for Both aek and zagreb to be excluded..

Doubt it, but both games will be without spectators. That was actually the condition to begin with. So one can wonder why 150 Croatians traveled to Greece. My friend says they arrived far away from Athens and drove across the country, and so it didnt catch the attention of the police...
