I legit don’t get it, he never has a good game in TM. He has the same problem Masoud Shojaei did where he would be great in his club team and completely useless in TM

Soooo, did anybody talk about Ehsan Fabregas? 😏

Goes to show what a t*khmi team Brighton is, only got their goals from PK's, at home.... Deserved 3 points for AEK! 👏🏻💪🏻🇬🇷💛

Like most countries in the world, we don't have a large number of highly talented and experienced players. So we need to take players whose positive contribution is vital for the team and ensure that we compensate for their weaknesses.
When manager after manager, both national and club, consistently pick a player for the most significant and difficult games, we have the best proof that the player is an excellent one.
Against a fast attacking side that Brighton is, (one that all PL teams hate to face), who would have thought a slow 35 year old player would be employed? Well Hajsafi had excellent contributions and clearly showed why he belongs in Europe.

It's just that AEK just executed their game plan well and got a bit of luck. Having scored first, BHA had to chase the game. If BHA had scored first, things would have been very different.
All the credit to AEK for a rare and exciting win.Sign this petition to show opposition to US/UK support for the Rajavi/MKO cult

Looks as I missed a good game ..!
besides his decent set pieces ending up as goals did he really play a good game !?
that Pk call on him looked a total BS ..! & wow the power on that header goal was insane ..!
props to the old man, overall he’s been playing great football this last couple of years or so
before that for a long periods of time he was really avg at best across all performance metrics ..!
hope he can keep his fitness going at least till the AC & early WCQing but past that we really need to start looking for an alternative, younger, faster LB/LWBs & if still keeps himself in shape transition him to more of a CM position ..!

I don't understand the "he's been awful" for team melli crowd..?
Sure he's a bit of a liability on defense, but he's by far one of our most creative players and he's been the best player for Team Melli offensively for the last 9-10 games or so! Just look at his assist to Moghanlou against Angola for example...
He was probably our best player at the world cup too...

Correct me if I’m wrong, but what is wrong with putting haj safi as a midfielder in our team. We lack a lot of talent in the midfield, so why doesn’t he play CM for team Melli? When I was younger I remember him playing as a midfielder. Why not put him with ezatollaji and ghoddos then have jalali or someone else on left back

Having HJ at LB lets him be very good offensively since he can help with possession while we can also play someone else in CM.

couldn't agree more. Hajsafi has always been a good player for us and I also don't understand the incredible amount of hate he always gets here.
I think some fans only notice his hopeful long shots he misses and some of his passes that go atsray.
They don't notice the work ethic he puts in, his excellent fitness levels , and the fantastic assists and clutch moments of decisive quality he shows during key matches.
These great moments just go under the rug as those fans will only point to the missed shots and passes they remember from other matches.

Have seen him mentioned as 35 and even 36 years old here. Don't make the guy older than he is. He is born in 1990 and therefore 33 years of age.
We got a few +32 year olds but Hajsafi should be kept even after the AC leading towards 2026. Others like Ansarifard (33), Rezeian (33), Shoja (34) or Amiri (35) however should rather be phased out soon.
