Yeah…Hajsafi has beaten out Milad as the starting LB for them since January (more or less). I don’t think Milad has started over Ehsan more than a few times since they arrived at AEK

It's true hajisafi has more playing time but he conceded a penalty last time while milmo has an assist

This is true but generally speaking, Hajsafi has been solid for AEK. Club management and fans have been happy with his performances…..let’s see if CQ agrees (he probably will since he preferred haji over mil mo when mil mo was at his best).

Still a big mystery to me how MiMo lost his mojo after the weird season start @AA Gent (where the club wanted to offload him, but their supporters really liked him).

            What happened??
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

I've always wondered what happened to him as well.

He seemed to me like he had great potential to become a fixed fullback for us and i'm not sure what happened exactly as i didn't follow him too closely.

I believe he was just loosing from perhaps and not consistent enough but not certain - if anyone has more details regarding his decline, that would be great.

Milad starting, Hajsafi not even in the squad... Game starts in 4 minutes against the last place team... Hopefully a confidence builder for Milad.

Milad played 90 in win over city rivals Aris. Rated solid 7.3 on fotmob, no mistakes judging from highlights and should have had one great assist (well blocked with last ditch tackle). Good to see he is regaining some semblance of form.

Hajsafi unused sub again. Not sure if he is recovering from heavy international break or actually been displaced.

Hajsafi came on towards the end of the game. Clean sheet for Milad and a win.

Edit - he also got a 7.5 rating.

They seem much better this season. I think also new stadium will give them a psychological boost (fan energy).

Hopefully they get european football next season. top 2 go to CL qualifiers. They are currently second, still early days.

                              https://football360.ir/post/20221018...AA%D9%88%D8%B3

individual highlights of both last week (milad played full 90, hajsafi subbed on for last 10).

Milad looking like his old self a bit. Much more decisive in possession, less hesitation, solid defensively, and made some really dangerous offensive plays. Hajsafi also looked solid when he came on.

In midweek they had a cup game which hajsafi started. Milad wasnt involved.

Will be interesting to see who starts tomorrow in the league. If milad keeps up his form for a few more weeks he will probably beat out jalali for LB spot.

Neither starting or on the bench. What is going on?
