I hope Milad can get back into anything close to his peak defensive form before the world cup - I still think he is the only one who can go toe-to-toe against likes of Sterling.

It has been great to see him cement his place back in the team which has coincided with good results too.

Milad has been out of the AEK squad for some time. Some recent updates:

*Milad injured his adductor muscle and has been out since returning from WC.
*He was recently in London for medical treatment/operation.
*He is expected to be out towards the end of the season.
*He is expected back in Greece in a couple of days.

"Miland Mohammadi had returned with a serious adductor injury from his participation with the Iran National Team in the World Cup and the fears were confirmed after the tests he underwent by the AEK medical team.

The decision had been made to go through the surgery door as the final diagnosis was right adductor tendon detachment. A serious damage which could not be treated otherwise. In fact, the 29-year-old Iranian full-back of AEK traveled to London, where he underwent surgery."

As for Ehsan, he has maintained his starting role at LB for AEK after returning from the WC:

*Started and played the full 90 in their recent away loss against PAS Giannina on Tuesday.
*AEK is currently second in the Greek league.

Very important gaming starting in 40 minutes. First placed Panathinaikos vs second placed AEK. Ehsan starting.

They are leading 2-1 at HT. With Ehsan assisting the 2nd goal.
There is now 1 point gap between them and Panathinakos with Pana having game in hand.

He is having a great season and is arguably the best left back in the league.

                      AEK fans really love him

some clips from his great display. Ehsan playing at a high level right now, enjoying life in Athens, brand new modern stadium + quality international teammates, and maybe if they keep it up a spot in CL/EL next season.

Good for him. Hope at least AEK can consider some younger iranians (Ghayedi, Jalali, Omri, Mohebi, etc) in the future

The man has gotten so much hate from TM fans and members from this forum when he played very well in the WC and continues to play well for his club too.

The hate has been well deserved, but we are all happy for him to prove us wrong and perform well. We are all glad to see him doing well and want this to continue. The hate came from the fact that he had over 120 games for TM, and maybe 10% of them were good performances. I hope he continues to perform, we will be supporting him
