Who would have thought, of the 3 iranians (now 2) in AEK, Haji would be the one playing most regularly 🤣

Panathinakos lost 3-0 to PAOK, now there is only 1 point gap between AEK and them

Pana shit the bed and lost again. AEK topping the table with 2 points lead.
Pana had 6 points lead at some point though!

he is good example if you stay fit and professional with right attitude in europe you can still go pretty far.

He played for the 2 biggest clubs in greece, great city, huge fan bases, might win the league and head into next season as starter for potential CL side.

His great fitness meant he was able to make 3x world cup squads, all as a starter, and in his latest 1 performed quite solidly.

Young guys can definitely learn a thing or two from his career.

I hope guys like Moharrami, Majid who started much younger in europe can eventually reach much more respectable levels than this even just by virtue of being professional, fit, and maximizing the talent they have, even if they encounter obstacles along the way.

if he changed his name to Ehsan Van Der Safi, he would be drinking tea with Ferguson in Manchester by now.. 😁

The fact that he was selected and played so many games means that the coaches of TM as well as his clubs, disagreed with the often wrong fans. Like Shojaie he has experienced undue hate and blame and yet is highly esteemed by the players and has carried the captaincy well too.

AEK back to first after big win this week and Panathinaikos only drawing olympiakos.

                      AEK now 1pt ahead.

Hajsafi played 90 as usual, game finished 3-0.

They have tough one vs Olympia from their 2 remaining games. They win both games they claim title

the league will split after the final 2 games for mini league phase.

Top 6 will play 10 matches (5 home, 5 away) to determine champions, CL, ECL spots. Winner goes to CL via playoff round, 2+3 go to Conference league.

Bottom 8 will play for relegation.
