"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Google is usually pretty accurate with tables, but has Panathinaikos as number one with AEK second despite the superior goal difference...?

        Same with BBC

In other places it is 50:50 which team is first

        No entiendo, tio

          EDIT:

So head-to-head is more important than goal difference, didn't know that

their head to head is the same, the goal scored in head to head is also the same .... So now Panathinaikos is ranked on top because they won the Regular season position.

his + milad's highlights. Ehsan unlucky not to have a few assists with some great crosses.

I guess now people realize why every single TM coach in last decade or so loved this guy

So many people on this site have thrashed him over the years. Where are they? The next time he puts a foot wrong, they'll show up again.

                        I still think he’s overrated.

exactly lol I’m happy he’s playing well and peaking at a strange time but that doesn’t change the fact that 75-80% of him TM caps have been awful. His best football has always been in European club football however, especially in greece.

Maybe I am biased towards Haj Safi because I see him carrying the Masoud Shojaie legacy...another successful player with a long career who has been repeatedly maligned.

Hajsafi performed well at the WC overall, while most didn't.

And he earned credit with me when he played against an Israeli team. Also he gave the only interview during the WC that was sympathetic to Mahsa's uprising.

I think Shojaei is a good comparison. A guy who got tons of caps, had great character (better than Hajisafi too), but was usually a really poor player for TM.

Hajsafi had some down times in TM but nobody can doubt he played a very solid WC, also had good games in the leadup vs senegal and uruguay. In 2018 qualification as CM especially he was very solid. He had a bad game vs portugal and let Quaresma free for the goal but generally speaking not close to as useless as masoud was in his last few years
