Tbf he's been all over the field, he's been forced to push forward, the team just CANT score… can't score 1 goal against Antwerp, what's the point of playing CHL? like Iran only beating Syria and Maldives…

1-2 for Antwerp, what a kiri ending.
Oh well, hopefully we'll see Sadegh in Europa League also. Along Azmoun

Does AEK go down to EL now, too? Or are they completely eliminated from European competition?

Hajisafi losing foot races or simply forgetting to track back on time on the left. Some things never change.

Yes but nevertheless, I have been watching his games recently and I must admit he's keeping very high level of football, always been among the better players in his team, has been consistent and most important, the coach really has faith in him. I have never been a fan of him but you have to respect the guy who's been playing in European level quite long.

he has been in good form and fitness for 1-2years now ... which is highly commendable in his age, considering the immense mileage on his legs and body..! dude has been a mainstay in TM for longer than i can recall almost any other TM players..??
i wonder who has him beat on TM game minutes..? anyone..?

Agree and considering his age, I'm very impressed and without doubt, he definitely still deserve to be called up for TM as long as he stays fit and can deliver on European level. One thing I noticed in the last four games vs Dynamo and Antwerp, his passing precision, crosses has been excellent which differs him from what we see in general when it comes to Iranian players, at least in our domestic league where the players barely manage to pass more than 3-4 passes.

I watched the first half as some of the second, he played great honestly. Accurate passing, some good runs, good crosses. AEK was just extremely wasteful in the final third.

Agree, and if someone says 1st goal was Hajis fault, they must understand that he's vital in building the attack also, which I'm sure the coach has wished from him. As mentionen, AEK unfortunately could not capitalize inside the area, which saw then eliminated.
