Some of nourollahi's games have been truly shocking. Guy is one of most dast o pa che players maybe ever in TM. Agility zero, looks like he is tripping over himself all the time, range of pass zero. The cameos mehdipour had vs korea and algeria were way better than anything nour showed in those games!

Yeah I know he gives energy and runs around, what the hell is the use when he is giving turnover 24/7 and defensively totally clueless too. Who can forget those critical defensive fuck ups for PP during ACL... Who can forget his masterpiece pk giveaway vs Ulsan. The guy is so prone to do clumsy stuff and not reading danger properly.

I dont see many/any categories mehdipour is truly weaker than him...certainly he is in far better form.

And lets at least be objective. He was benched for large portions of season in al shottor for key games too instead of some uzbek kid...His form has dropped a lot since PP days and reflected in his games for TM. I know you think ghoddos is a nobody getting benched in england but I think getting benched by 2 danish NT starters is a little different than for Aziz Ganiev in Shabab UAE league

Ghoddos couldn't make it during CQ, couldn't make it with Sko.
At some point you guys should stop finding excuses.
He is not the solution for CM. Onam to WC.

To me Mehdipour is more offensive. I was talking more as pure DM obviously. Nour is in between.
Regarding Ghoddos, losing spot to like Nour, Sarlak it say more about him than anything else tbh

Among all CDM there is no one with decent speed other than Ebrahimi but then he is old.
Doesn't matter who you play there,, we lack speed this time.
And this is not play station at your apartment dude, no coach start a guy(mehdipour) who barely played for TM in such important tournament.

Great point. Just because somebody played in qualifiers doesnt secure their spot for tournament. We see it time and again. Amiri also never played CM for us before WC. Milad was the LB in all of qualifiers and suddenly hajsafi took the spot.

And CQ always played with 3 central midfielders, the break down of which ones were defensive minded and which were offensive minded maybe changed at times, but there were always 3. Either 4141, 433, 4231.

Never did we play 442. There is a clear reason for that, one that our friend mahbod keeps mentioning (CM is weak line for us) but then suddenly keeps insisting on playing only 2 players there.

Not only would we be much weaker than say americans in terms of personnel in center of park, with his suggestions we would also have 1 less guy there than them!

WE should try to cover our weaknsesses, not expose them more

You miss the point. You change your 442 anytime you want. That is how he sent the team to play but obviously we played more 4-2-3-1 or some time 4-5-1 or 4-1-4-1 depending on the situation.
Our team played really compact under CQ. That is why D core and DM looked great because it was not about individual players, everyone was contributing to defense.
