It would have been great if we had hired CQ right after we fired Wimots. Having said that, I hope for CQ sake he does not accept the job till after the WC 2022. We have huge problems with our team in preparation as well as both the defense and midfield; hoping that CQ can fix this is unrealistic. If I were CQ, I would let our current coach and IFF through mismanagement of TM shit the bed in the world cup (as painful as that is for us) and then if IFF folks are serious start talking to them. I for one will happy if we don't get railed and badly embarrassed in Qatar and see very little good coming out of this enterprise.

Kateb, please read my post!! I never said he would not take the job as TM manager, I said it would not be smart because of our teams shortcomings and the unreasonable expectations of TM Fans.
I hope I am wrong and I love to see CQ back, but I have a feeling that promise of hiring CQ is a "Dareh bagheh sabz" floated by Taj and even if it were not, CQ is smart enough to know that taking this job will destroy his reputation because for the 1st time his charges are going to get plowed in three straight games and look stupid on an international stage. I don't think he is that desperate for a record since he is only 69 and still has a few good years remaining in him as a coach

Even if CQ acepts to consider returning he will lay out massive conditions. These cud include:

1. No guarentee that we will make it out of the group stages
2. Suspension of the league or full access to all the squad at least a full month beofre the WC
3. Access to foreign based players
4. Full support team appointed by him
5. Big bonus to him & players if they make the 2nd round
6....ect etc
