I would love to see CQ back, but we should be realistic in that he needs to be a long term solution and not get drummed out if we do poorly in WC. Unfortunately the last few years people have destroyed everything he had built in Iran.

I'm not sure what to think about this. As a fan of Team Melli for almost 30 years I've never felt more confused and distraught about the situation of our team.

I'm a fan of Carlos Queiroz. I wouldn't be upset if he comes back. I'm just not sure and don't know how it'll affect our team overall.

The World Cup is in less than 3 months guys. Whether or not we agree on if Skocic did well or didn't, this team has built SOME chemistry. And we can disregard the fact that not all of the players in the squad are CQ players.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic, believe me. I want the best for our team. I just think if we were going to get CQ it would've been better if it was before the summer began. We all know how invested and dedicated CQ is in terms of planning and organization. Whether we like CQ or we don't, he's not a manager who likes to "half ass" anything.

For our team to switch and acclimate under CQ in 2.5 months (despite having coached half of our squad), things will change and will have to change in a short time prior to the tournament.

I don't know guys, I just hope it'll end well for our team.

Their IQ is so low.

So let me break it down.

According to social media (it could be rumors) but CQ says he won't take iran for WC if taj becomes IFF president . Lets say this is all BS and King CQ comes back. (i was hoping to get him for Asian cup but this will ruin the chances).

A. Lets say CQ comes back
B. Our Friendly game is this month i think in 2 weeks time.
C. No way CQ deal is done in 2 weeks.
D. So that means CQ will miss out the 2 vital friendly games.
E. Most importantly our team will not benefit from the friendly games vs senagal and uruguay as we don't know who will be our coach
F. After these 2 friendly games we won't have any time for preparation untill 2- 3 weeks before WC.
G. Half of the team are different players compared to when CQ was in charge so most probably he won't know them.
H. How do you expect CQ to set the team to play against england and wales only god knows.

Sergio Conceicao says taremi didn't practice with the team for 1 week and thats why he didn't perform, lol how do you expect CQ to do anything in 2 weeks time .

CQ won't take team melli at this time and if he does by any chance we will fail badly.

Exactly , there are soooo many ppl on this board that have zero clue about football all they watch is IPL and team Melli, and Asian champions league , they are far from understanding where we really stand in the modern games , they rather be lied to than face the truth ,

The truth is we aren’t a super power , even getting 3 points is a very big deal for us , but considering there is someone out there who understand us very well and he understand the opponents very well , CQ , is the only coach in this short period of time who can actually bridge this gap , make us actually competitive and have a chance to advance..

With skocic it be 3 loses , with a Persian coach it be 3 loses , with another foreign coach depends who we bring but in this short time it won’t be good ,

That why only CQ can make something out of nothing for us …
