Azmoun and taremi have improved big time, Arj with way more experience and doing well consistently with TM now, sayyadmanesh is a great option now.
All our legionaires have way more experience now and with the same or similar tactics under cq that they've played under before, they'll definitely do even better than last time. But with amateur open attacking delusional style under a C class coach like skocic = disaster at world cup.

Last time I checked football needs more than 3 players. We have a non existent midfield a soorakh defense and questionable goalkeeping right now. But you are right...our attackers are better. But hey let's play defense with a keeper who can't catch a shot from above 18 yard box and defenders who get blown by easier than ghasedak in the wind. Midfielders who make questionable dribbles to no where.

If you checked properly last time, you'd notice we didn't have good defense because we had brilliant individuals...

It's because of the properly organized and defensive tactics of Carlos Queiroz that we were able to defend well AS A TEAM.

Point is, with proper tactics like we had under cq, we'll keep defending well and now we have better attackers and all our legionaires have improved / much more experience more or less.

The fact is that qualification and lure of the money that comes with it, is what drew Taj back into the game. I don't know Taj or Majedi personally, but one was a footballer , the other was not. One brought Iran to the verge of elimination before resigning his post due to "illness" while bankrupting the federation, the other one squared away the financial issues. One was involved in football all his life, the other was jumping from one managerial position to another in a corrupt system all his life, without really having any accomplishments to point to.
